That’s me to the left there. Yes that’s my real hair.
In July 2006, I decided to try and run the 89km Comrades Marathon in 2007, which was when I started this blog. I was well on track until I incurred an ankle injury which required an operation to get me back on the road. This kept me out of action for several months, and I missed the chance to run Comrades in 2007. The operation was a success, and now I’m plotting my route to Comrades 2008.
