So this is my training plan starting uhhh, yesterday:
- Monday: Rest (since I didn’t run yesterday, that works nicely)
- Tuesday: 8km (37-40 min)
- Wednesday: 8km Time trial (sub 32 min)
- Thursday: 10km (47-50 min)
- Friday: 8km (37-40 min)
- Saturday: 8km (45 min)
- Sunday: Tuff Thirty 30km race (3 hours)
In total, that’s 72km, ouch! The 30km race does inflate it significantly though, and I might cut down on the 8km run on Saturday, purely because I’ll need my rest. I’m going to be treating the first 25 odd kms as a long run running at around 6min/km, then if I’m feeling good, pushing the last few. That should see me finish around 3 hours.
